Understanding Learning Organization

 

There are various definitions of learning organisations, and the kinds of learning organizations that exist. He identified five characteristics of a learning organization that consist of System thinking, Personal Mastery, Mental Model, Team Learning and Shared Vision.

This process allows individuals to improve their skills and become more productive. This process can be done through various forms of training and development, such as self-improvement. However, it is not always possible to force an individual to learn. Developing personal mastery can also help individuals achieve various positive outcomes, such as self-improvement, personal satisfaction, and commitment. It can also help them manage their work-life balance. A mental model is a set of assumptions and generalizations that describe what people can and cannot see. This type of model is often used by organizations and individuals to limit their observations. To become a successful learning organization, these assumptions and generalizations must be challenged.
