8 Habits of the Heart

Don't get wrong with the author of this book, no , not Dr Covey. This catchy title were discovered afthe I dig at local bookshop, and i would like to introduce to you , Mr Clifton L. Taulbert. It is 1997 Penguin Book published, he is the author of previous renowned and acclaimed book ,Once Upon a Time When We were Colored.

He is the gentle scientist of relationship, families and community. His memorable lesson brings meaningfull guide in embracing the value thats builds strong families and community. He layed out eight basic principles he had learn from his elders :

1. Nurturing Attitude - a attitude which characterised by unselfish caring,supportiveness and a willingness o share time.

2. Dependability Responsibilty - Dependability is being there for others through all the times of their lives, a steady influence that makes tomorrow a welcome event

3. Responsibilty - means showing and encouraging a personal commitment to each task.

4. Friendship - is the habit that binds people together when they take pleasure in each other's company, listen, laugh, share good times and bad.

5. Brotherhood - is the habit that reaches beyond comfortable relationship to extend a welcome to those who may be different from yourself.

6. High Expectations - involve believing that other can be succesfull, telling them so and prising their accomplishment.

7. Courage - is standing up and doing the right thing, speaking out for others , and making commitment to excellence in the face of adversity or the absence of support.

8. Hope - is believing in tomorrow , because you have learn to see with your heart.
